This year we've made a few changes!
And for the first time ever, we are opening voting to the Australian hospitality industry for the T25 – Top 25 Bartenders in Australia.
This is a landmark moment, a nationwide invitation to come together and honour the extraordinary talent shaping Australian bartending today and who will make this honourable list.
An esteemed panel of industry experts has helped guide the foundation of this process, already submitting their votes, and now we open it to the industry at large, ensuring the final T25 reflects the true depth, diversity, and energy, identifying the individuals who are truly raising the bar across craft, creativity, and culture of the Australian bartending from every state and every corner of the country.
This is about more than recognition. It's about celebrating the people who show up night after night, who push flavour forward, who lead teams, build communities, make change, positively impact, compete, create, innovate and quietly redefine what excellence behind the bar looks like in Australia.
If you are part of the Australian hospitality community, you are invited to take part in selecting the Top 25 Bartenders in Australia for 2026.
- Who is genuinely inspiring you in Australian bartending right now
- Who is pushing boundaries in technique, flavour, creativity, and presentation
- Who demonstrates consistency, pride, and dedication to the craft
- Who contributes meaningfully to the wider hospitality community beyond their venue
- Who actively engages in learning, collaboration, competitions, and industry development
- Who is helping elevate Australian bartending through leadership, action, and passion
- Who is leading, positively impacting and leaving a legacy on the industry
- Each eligible participant may vote once only
- You may nominate up to three (3) bartenders ranked in order of preference (Rank #1 carries the highest weight, followed by #2 and #3)
- Each vote is registered per IP address and email to ensure integrity and fairness
- Multiple submissions will be disqualified to maintain a transparent, single-vote system
- This process is designed to avoid popularity bias and instead reflect informed industry recognition
- All nominated bartenders must be actively working a minimum of two bar shifts per week
- Bartenders included in previous T25 selections remain eligible for re-nomination
- You cannot vote for yourself
This is a moment for the Australian hospitality industry to come together and recognise its best — not through popularity, but through craft, contribution, and consistency.
Now, for the first time ever, the industry decides the T25 Bartenders in Australia.
Voting closes 1st July 2026. The Top 100 will be announced on 3rd July 2026.
