Independent gin producers Patient Wolf, are packing up shop in Brunswick and moving closer to the CBD. The new distillery will be located in Melbourne’s Southbank and slated to open in September this year.
Patient Wolf co-founders and distillers Matt Argus and Dave Irwin are leading the renovation of a red brick industrial warehouse at 34-36 Market Street, an urban side street that hugs Southbank and South Melbourne’s border. The working distillery and bar will be the largest independent distillery in Victoria.
The new venue will offer guests the opportunity to enjoy perfectly crafted gin drinks atthe bar, a tour behind the scenes of what goes on at a gin distillery, along with an in-depth masterclass on the distilling process. On the menu will be seasonal drinks, featuring G&Ts, classic cocktails, and more innovative combinations, each with a distinctly Melbourne style.
Patient Wolf gins will be available for retail at the new distillery, including limited-edition and distillery-only releases.
The distillery currently produces three gins including: –
Melbourne Dry Gin
Patient Wolf’s first gin was years in the making. It’s a big, bold and complex gin that is incredibly smooth and balanced.
Summer Thyme Gin
Inspired by summer and for enjoying all year round with lively lemon zest and delicate pine freshness.
An annual seasonal release featuring blackthorn (sloe) berries handpicked in Tasmania.
The Patient Wolf distillery and bar will open to the public from early September 2019. Thursdays and Fridays 4.00pm – 8.00pm and Saturdays and Sundays 10.00am – 5.00pm.
