Mr. Black Announces Global Coffee Ambassador

Premium coffee liqueur brand, Mr. Black Cold Brew, has announced its first Global Coffee Ambassador.

Martin Hudak, former senior bartender at The American Bar at The Savoy, London, will take on the role, focusing on educating coffee drinkers, bars, restaurants, retailers, distributor and press on Mr. Black Cold Brew and its use in coffee mixology.

The appointment comes after Martin was crowned champion at the 2017 World Coffee in Good Spirits competition. He has also competed in a range of other finals, including the HCGP, the Beefeater MIX LDN, the Absolut Invite and the national UK final of Diageo Reserve WORLD CLASS.

“Martin’s passion for coffee and mixology is absolutely contagious,” says co-founder of Mr. Black, Tom Baker. “His edge and understanding of coffee, spirits, bartenders, and baristas are second to none in the drinks industry. We’re delighted to have him join our mission to take craft coffee into the night.”

Martin says his new role is the culmination of his work within the spirits and coffee industries.

“My aim over the years has been to bridge the gap between the world of coffee and cocktails,” he says. “It was the natural and obvious choice for me to join forces with a brand and group of people who believe in this as passionately as myself.”

To kick off his ambassadorship, Martin will be hosting the World Barista Championship in Australia.
