On Tuesday night Sydneysiders braved the gloomy weather to attend the 150th Anniversary of Moët Impérial. The event was held at the iconic Sydney Town Hall which saw the industry, celebrities, influencers and brand advocates come together to celebrate this important milestone.
Hosting the event was Moët & Chandon President and CEO, Stéphane Baschiera together with Moët & Chandon Ambassador, Jesinta Franklin.
Upon arrival, guests were treated with the Impérial 1869 cocktail that was created for the occasion. Following the welcome drink, guests moved to the Centennial Hall who was accompanied by a string trio and pianist that set the tone for the elegant evening.
The menu was curated by renowned French chef, Guillaume Brahimi that was paired to Moët Impérial from the new limited-edition anniversary bottles. Following the two course meal, hosts, Stéphane Baschiera and Jesinta Franklin made the ultimate grand gesture and poured the 20 tier Moët Impérial champagne tower that was the centrepiece to the room. This was then followed by the afterparty with a surprise performance by Hayden James in the Moët & Chandon Studio 1869.
Jesinta Franklin comments on the evening, “It was an honour to host Moët Impérial’s 150th Anniversary event last night with CEO, Stéphane Baschiera. The iconic venue, food, champagne and after party was an incredible celebration.”
Honouring the 150 years of Moët Impérial, Moët & Chandon will have the limited edition anniversary bottles available. The anniversary bottles have a new logo design where the “I” of “Impérial” is designed into a new symbol.
