MO BAR is currently journeying through Southeast Asia with their pop-up event series ‘Nomadic Foragers’.
Michele Mariotti, Bar Manager at MO BAR, will be exploring local markets in each stop of this regional tour. Learning about indigenous fruits and spices from the locals.
Utilising this knowledge, he’ll also be collaborating with a renowned cocktail bar in each city, working together with their bar team to create and contribute to a signature menu (served for one night only at a special guest shift event).
“Nomadic Foragers” kicked off at its first stop on the tour in Hong Kong, at Mexican-inspired craft cocktail bar COA. Where Michele presented the inaugural collab menu with Jay Kahn the Head Bartender.
Future stops on the tour will include Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Shanghai and Sydney with dates still to be announced.
The series is a natural progression from MO BAR’s current cocktail menu, which successfully launched at the Mandarin Oriental, Singapore in September 2018.
