Absolut has been a longtime supporter of the LGBTQIA+ community and the fight towards equality and acceptance globally. This year they have announced the launch of Absolut Love, which is a campaign to further their support and celebrate the stories of love since the historic YES vote in 2017.
As part of the campaign, 282 LGBTQIA+ Aussies who tied the knot since the YES vote will be featured on Absolut posters around Sydney. Along with the symbolic rainbow flag printed on limited edition bottles of Absolut Vodka and cans of Absolut Botanik Rainbow.
Managing Director at Cummins & Partners Sydney, Kirsty Muddle said “There are 6,000+ people in this country that married someone they love since the YES vote, it’s a signal of Absolut Love in Australia and that’s something worth celebrating.”
The Absolute Love posters will be on display not just in Sydney but also in Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. In addition to the posters, Absolute has donated $20,000 to Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras community programs. These programmes help disadvantaged LGBTQIA+ people with scholarships and grants.
