Canadian Club is once again partnering with the Australian Open to bring to life Canadian Club Racquet Club in 2018.
Now in its fourth year, the partnership has contributed to Canadian Club’s continuous growth on the Australian market, with the spirit brand now the fastest growing nationwide.
This year’s Canadian Club Racquet Club saw record attendance, with over 122,000 drinks sold across the Australian Open tournament.
“The Australian Open has been an important investment in delivering growth for Canadian Club and driving trial among thirsty drinkers during the key trading period,” said Beam Suntory brand manager, Michaela Lloyd-Jones.
In January 2018, the Canadian Club Racquet Club will return to the upper terrace at Birrarung Marr, Melbourne for the duration of the tennis. The pop-up will be the perfect location to watch all the action on the Festival’s big screen or let loose and get down to one of the DJ’s playing each night. This includes a special set by Miami Horror on the middle weekend of the tournament.
As the official dark spirit of the Australian Open Series, Canadian Club has also announced it will be present at the Open Sessions Music Festival.
Sydneysiders never fear, the spirit brand is also sending some love your way with the Canadian Club Racquet Club popping up at The Bucket List and Watson’s Bay Boutique Hotel after a successful run in 2017.
All the Canadian Club Racquet Clubs will be tennis themed, with styled deckchairs to lounge around in and props to take the perfect Instagram snap with, alongside a bar dedicated to serving up the iconic Canadian Club and Dry.
Canadian Club aims to spread its campaign ‘Over Beer’ throughout the activations, showcasing to consumers that the dark spirit is the ideal alterative to sessioning beer.
