Entries are open to BACARDÍ Legacy Cocktail Competition in Australia, and this year there is a new format.

Now in its seventh years, entrants have the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of some of Australia’s top bartenders including Fred Siggins, Alissa Gabriel, Andrew Bennett, Dave Kerr, James Irvine and this year’s Australian Legacy title-holder, Jenna Hemsworth.

The winner of the Australian final will receive several prizes including $5,000 cash and an all-expenses-paid trip to the Global final. The Global final this year will be held in Miami USA – a city that holds a long-standing association with BACARDÍ rum.

The Global Final will run from the 1st – 7th July and will be a week packed with education and competition. The 40 global finalists will get to rub shoulders with true legends of the industry and visit some of the cities finest venues and hot spots. The Grand Final will be on the 6th May when the 2020 BACARDÍ Legacy champion will be announced.

Aussie bartenders have a credible record of reaching the top 16 at the global finals, which shows the pure talent we have in this market and how Australia plays a significant role in the growth of the cocktail scene worldwide.
