BACARDÍ Legacy Australia’s Top 8 Revealed!

Semi-Finalist Mikey Braun's BACARDÍ Legacy Cocktail Entry

BACARDÍ Martini Australia has announced the Top 8 bartenders who will battle it out at the National Semi-Final, to be held in Brisbane on 29th of October.

BACARDÍ brand ambassadors, Loy Catada, Georgie Mann and Peter Hollands meticulously reviewed each of the Top 30’s drinks and recipe videos to narrow it down to the eight semi-finalists. The final selection came down to cocktail taste, aroma, innovation and inspiration.

The Top 8 will now travel to Queensland to compete in front of a panel of industry judges at the newly opened Boom Boom Room. They will present their unique Legacy cocktails together with the original BACARDÍ daiquiri.

All are hoping for a spot in the highly coveted BACARDÍ Legacy Four Most Promising alongside Sydney bartender extraordinaire, Jenna Hemsworth. Jenna received wild card entry into the final this year after being announced Bartender Magazine’s 2018 Australian Bartender of the Year.
