Angostura are bringing together the original Eau de Vie crew for what’s sure to be a night of killer cocktails and crazy antics.
Three of Eau de Vie’s alumni greats – former head bartender now Vasco Bar owner, Max Greco; the man responsible for the Sydney institution that was Hello Sailor, Luke Redington; and Angostura’s 2017 Cocktail Challenge winner, Black Pearl’s Dan Gregory – will be reuniting this Sunday 29th April to churn out Eau de Vie classics from its current menu along with some of the bar’s best creations from the early days.
Angostura’s award-winning rums and aromatic bitters will, of course, also be on offer, skillfully mixed by the legendary trio.
The night marks the official beginning of Dan’s year-long term as the Australian Angostura Brand Ambassador, responsible for providing education to bartenders about the brand.
Sven Almenning, owner of Eau de Vie, says he is thrilled to have the original team back together.
“We were one of the first small bars in Sydney back in 2010 and have built a strong reputation for both high calibre bartenders and exceptional drinks. Max, Luke and Dan were three of the originals; they are very much a part of our success today and they set the bar high for all to follow. It’s great to have them back together for this reunion.”
This one-night-only event is open to all, with no tickets or reservations required. Entry is free, so bring along your bartending mates for what’s sure to be one hell of a night.
