Luke Sanderson Leaves Black Pearl for Glenfiddich Ambassadorship

Luke Sanderson, senior bartender at the renowned Black Pearl, Melbourne, has stepped out from behind the bar to become the new brand ambassador for premium single malt whisky brand, Glenfiddich.

With many years experience working in the hospitality industries of New Zealand, London, Scotland and Australia behind him, Luke has developed a deep passion for and knowledge of whisky.

Luke is joining Ross Blainey, brand ambassador for The Balvenie and Mike Lowe, brand ambassador for Monkey Shoulder as a fellow Scotch whisky expert for the William Grant & Sons Whisky portfolio.

Luke said that although he is saddened to leave his Black Pearl team, he is excited to present Glenfiddich’s quality product to trade and consumers.

“I’m New Zealand born but a Scott at heart! It was a tough decision to leave my family of four years at The Black Pearl, but an opportunity to represent a brand like Glenfiddich doesn’t come up every day,” says Luke.
