Premium whisky brand Chivas Regal has announced the top six finalists set to compete in the 2018 Australian Chivas Masters National Final.
The six impressed the judges with their bespoke cocktails, prompted by the theme ‘Community’. Bartenders were required to create a signature serve and relay the story of who in their community inspired the creation.
These bartenders will now battle it out during Chivas Masters Week (16th – 19th of April) for the chance to compete in the Chivas Masters Global Final in London later this year.
In this next stage, the finalists will have to promote their cocktails within their bars and their success will directly contribute to their final score. This score will be announced on Monday 14th of May at an event in Sydney to award the Australian national champion.
The Australian representative will then compete on the global stage for the title of 2018 Chivas Master and the grand prize of an all-expenses paid trip to this year’s Tales of the Cocktail and the opportunity to become a Chivas global ambassador.
