¡Olé! 5 Cocktails to Get the Fiesta Going this World Margarita Day!

Ginger Margarita

Thursday 22nd of February is World Margarita Day, so we’ve pulled together five unique twists on the classic cocktail to get you in the spirit and entice your customers.

Ginger Margarita

 Garnish: Lime wedge (served on the side)

Glass: Tumbler

Ingredients:
45ml Sesión tequila
25ml Fresh lime juice
10ml Agave syrup
Half a knob of fresh ginger

Method: Add all ingredients to a shaker, add lots of ice and shake hard. Strain into an ice-filled tumbler and garnish with a slice of lime

Passionfruit Margarita

Garnish: Passionfruit float
Glass:
 Margarita

Ingredients:
30ml Patrón Silver Tequila
15ml Patrón Citronge
25ml Lime juice
1 Passionfruit, pulp removed
10ml Sugar syrup

Method: Add passionfruit pulp and all other ingredients to an ice-filled shaker. Shake and strain into a chilled margarita glass prepared with a salt rim.

Blood Orange Margarita

Garnish: Blood orange wedge
Glass: Coupette

Ingredients:
30ml Altos Plata Tequila
15ml Solerno Blood Orange Liqueur
15ml Campari
10ml Fresh lime juice
30ml Blood orange juice
10ml MONIN Agave Syrup

Method: Add ingredients to a cocktail shaker and shake with ice. Strain into a coupette glass rimmed with sea salt.

 

Pavan Margarita

Garnish: Grapefruit slice
Glass: Coupette

Ingredients:
30ml Pavan Muscat Grape Liqueur
30ml Sierra Silver Tequila
15ml Pink grapefruit juice
Lime wedge (squeezed)

Method: Salt the rim of a cocktail glass. Add ingredients to a shaker, shake and strain over fresh ice.

 

Tommy’s Margarita

Tommy’s Margarita

Garnish: Lime wedge
Glass: Rocks

Ingredients:
45ml Herradura Plata
30ml Fresh lime juice
15ml Herradura Agave Nectar

Method: Combine all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker, fill with ice and shake vigorously for 10 seconds. Pour all ingredients (including ice) into a large rocks glass rimmed with flaked sea salt. Use pink sea salt for best results.
