Quality champagne brand, Champagne Lanson, has announced a new distribution deal that will see many more of its products available on Aussie shores.
After signing an agreement with the network of distributors, Wine DNA, on-premise across Australia will now have exclusive access to a range of expressions.
Lanson Père et Fils Brut NV
A new expression from the House of Lanson and an evolution of the classic Lanson Black Label Brut. Aged for a minimum of four years, this Champagne unveils a magnificent bright golden colour, animated by tiny bubbles. The aroma is full of ripe fruits, honey and spices. On the palate, it has a delicious and complex array of flavours, led by honey-dew.
Lanson Green Label Organic Brut NV
Made from organic grapes grown exclusively on an estate vineyard at Verneuil, the heart of Marne Valley; as a result, the Champagne expresses the quality and uniqueness of its terroir to the full. After three years in the cellars, it is elegant, very aromatic and characterised by its mineral purity. Notes of pear, peach, blackcurrant, citrus and oriental spices drift across the nose, while ripe fruit flavours dance across the palate.
Clos Lanson Vintage 2006
The Clos Lanson 2006 has all of the attributes of a very fine chardonnay. In the glass, the wine has a pale golden colour and a fine stream of bubbles. Delicately woody aromas, plus ripe fruit, butter, vanilla, hazelnut and a whiff of smoke awaken the nose. The palate discovers rich fruit flavours, plus toasted, biscuity notes. The finish remains fresh and long.
Lanson Pink Label Brut-Rosé NV
A delicious blend of pinot noir, pinot meunier and chardonnay, plus a small drop of pinot noir red wine; it is this that gives the wine its attractive pure salmon colour. On the nose, there are aromas of roses and delicate red berries. The impact on the palate is gentle, carried by a long finish. It’s generous. It’s mouth-filling. It’s fresh.
A hallmark of the Lanson style, made from a blend of chardonnay and pinot noir from grand cru and premier cru vineyards, across three vintages: 2004, 2005 and 2006. To the eye, the Extra Age Brut is a vibrant straw yellow with fine bubbles. Wonderful aromas of fig, winter pear and honey fill the nose. On the palate, the wine is succulent, full and rich with fruit flavours, plus all the freshness Lanson Champagnes are famed for.
