Winners of the Sydney International Wine Competition Announced!

The winners of the 2018 Sydney International Wine Competition, Australia’s international wine show founded in 1982, have been announced.

The independent wine show is unique in that its principal consideration is judging wines based on their attributes when paired with appropriate food. This makes for a list of winners perfect to include on a bar and/or restaurant menu.

All wines included are blind tasted in three stages by an international panel of judges, with 2,000 entries accepted each year. It is in the final phase that the finalist wines, now grouped into food-friendly style categories, are judged beside food pairings.
