Aperol Spritz is back this summer to celebrate the season of tennis.
After the success of this year’s Club Aperol, with 60,000 spritzs consumed over the course of the Australian Open Series, Australia’s favourite aperitif will be hosting two clubhouses in the tennis precinct in 2018.
The Garden Square clubhouse will be a welcome sanctuary away from all the action. Guests will be able to lap up the January sunshine in one of Club Aperol’s VIP Italian pergolas, with a delicious and refreshing glass of Aperol Spritz in hand. Head on over during aperitivo hour to catch rotating DJs spinning killer tunes or come by any time for an aperitivo box of Italian cheeses, charcuterie and olives or Meditteranean-style roasted vegetables, the perfect pairings for your spritz.
The clubhouse design will ooze Italian preppy style, with tennis racquets covering the bright Aperol-orange walls from floor to ceiling, bold neon lighting, luxury seating and verdant greenery.
In the same design will be Aperol’s second clubhouse, conveniently located in front of Rod Laver Arena. Tennis fans can relax between matches with their aperitif cocktail and take in the hustle and bustle of the Concourse. 400 Gradi, Brunswick’s woodfire pizza connoisseurs, are coming on board at this site, serving up their famous margherita pizzas.
Snap a picture with your spritz at one of the two clubhouses and share with the hashtags #summerinaglass and #aperolspritzau and you could even win a trip to Italy to sip Aperol in its homeland.
With its bright orange shade and pleasing bittersweet taste, Aperol is perfect light, summery aperitif. Mixed with Prosecco and a dash of soda, the Aperol Spritz is a refreshing and bright cocktail delivering flavours of oranges, citrus fruits, vanilla and rhubarb.
Can’t make it to the big event in Melbourne? Never fear, Aperol have partnered with Tennis Australia for all the Australian Open Series Events including the Hopman Cup, Brisbane International, APIA International, World Tennis Challenge and the Hobart International.
