Jake Page Crowned Winner of the La Maison Cointreau Asia Competition

Over the three days of competition, 11 talented bartenders from Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand battled it out testing their creativity, skill and brand knowledge through a series of challenges. Based on the results after the three challenges, determined who the final four bartenders would compete in the finale round.

The judging panel consisted of Alfred Cointreau, the sixth generation of the Cointreau family, Joshua O’Brien, 2016 La Maison Cointreau Asia Champion, and Woo Wai Leong, winner of the first season of MasterChef Asia.

“Through this competition, I have learned a great deal about bartending, the diversity of Asia, and myself. Most importantly, I had a chance to forge amazing friendships with this incredible bunch of gifted individuals. Being part of La Maison Cointreau Asia has been a truly humbling and rewarding journey, and I feel so honoured to have had the opportunity to wave the Singapore flag high and proud in here in Ho Chi Minh City.” – Jake Page, Employees Only Singapore

Cameron Attfield from The Gin Room, Auckland, New Zealand, was presented the Cointreau Kindred Spirit Award, which recognizes the spirit of camaraderie and collaboration between bartenders that helps grow the bartending community in Asia and across the world.

As the reigning Champion, Jake will be taken on an all-expenses trip to visit one of the brand houses under Rémy Cointreau.
