Tromba Tequila is hosting a masterclass and a speed comp at Sydney’s Barrio Cellar this Thursday, August 31. Co-founder and Australian Tequila Tromba owner, Nick Reid, will be present to share his knowledge on the production method, what makes Tromba, and his personal perspective on the brand. Reid will move through three expressions available and offer a tasting of each.
As part of the evening, Tromba has selected four bartenders to participate in a Speed Competition, requiring each participant to create two of the most well-known tequila cocktails; a Tommy’s Margarita and a Paloma. Bartenders are challenged to make both of these drinks in their fastest time while still ensuring the quality and integrity of the drinks, and all fresh juices used are to be hand squeezed. The competition will test both skills and ability to work under pressure to deliver in front of a crowd.
