After the recent Keep Sydney Open rally slated for January 21 was shut down at the eleventh hour on a judging by the NSW Supreme Court thanks to the Commissioner of Police requesting a court order, the third rally has been rescheduled for Saturday, February 18 at Martin Place from midday. The rally features an eclectic mix of current and classic acts to highlight the broad support for safe, vibrant, and fun late-night culture in Sydney. ARIA award winner for breakthrough artist of 2016 Montaigne will perform, along with Hugo Gruzman of Flight Facilities. Mark Callaghan and Graham ‘Buzz’ Bidstrup from iconic Aussie band GANGgajang will also be performing.
Sydney’s famed Gelato Messina are throwing their weight behind the Keep Sydney Open campaign, creating a special edition “Sydney nightlife choc top” that will be available to purchase at the rally. The creation is in reference to the infamous “one choc top or two” line from the State Government’s campaign about Sydney nightlife
Head down to Martin Place in Sydney’s CBD from 12pm onwards on February 18 and show your support!
