The WORLD CLASS finals list has been announced

The list has been announced and 55 finalists will battle it out at the Global Final competition in South Africa later this month. Bartenders will be put to the test, in the hope of taking home the title of “the best bartender of the world”.

Behind every great bartender there’s a great management team, and the 55 finalists in the WORLD CLASS Bartender of the Year competition represent some of the most exceptional venues this world has to offer. These bars and restaurants are spread across 53 countries as well as two venues on the open seas.

Over 3,500 bars and restaurants from across the globe have taken part in WORLD CLASS this year, with their bartenders working towards taking home the title for their representing country.

Mixologist master Antonio Lai will be representing Hong Kong in the Global Finals and Quinary where you will often find Antonio perfecting his craft, was included in the list of World Class Best Bars in the World.

Steve Leong from TESS BAR in Singapore will also be competing for this years WORLD CLASS title.

WORLD CLASS launched in 2009, and the program has trained over 35,000 bartenders all over the world, representing more than 10,000 bars and restaurants. WORLD CLASS bartenders and the venues where they work, embrace the craft of mixology, all teaming this with impeccable skills, sophistication and service one will not forget.

Now leading into the seventh year, WORLD CLASS is the biggest and most recognized mixology event in the world, providing a stage to hero the talent of the world’s best bartenders and highlight their ability to create and deliver cocktails that will enhance the drinking experience across the globe.
